Forests Activists survey Tasmnaian clearcut

Near the Florentine Forest in Tasmania, forest activists Wendy and Nish survey a two year old clearcut. Mount Wedge is peeping up from the forests. Forestry Tasmania and contracted companies cut these forests for wood pulp, then burn the leftovers, drops 1080 poison to kill the wildlife. Plantation forest or "native forest is then grown its place. Activists in Tasmania maintain that the government's forestry policy is destroying the environment and that 90% of Tasmania's old growth forest is already gone.
