Catalonia Referendum Event, Sant Cugat del Valles

A couple walk home wearing the Estelada, the flag of the Catalan independence movement, after taking part in a large pre-referendum gathering of music and dancing in Sant Cugat del Valles, just outside Barcelona, a week before the planned vote for Catalan independence. The Spanish government has threatened to stop the referendum, having declared it against Spain’s constitution.
