At Culletons Gap

The beach at Culleton's Gap, Curracloe, Wexford. Christmas Eve, 2012. Winter sun breaks through a dull Christmas Eve in Wexford. I make for the beach, catch the light before it vanishes behind the trees at Raven point. The next day, Christmas Day, I return and swim, arcs of pain shooting through my shins as I wade into the cold water of the Irish Sea.
