Charles Fort's Grave, Albany Rural Cemetery

The grave of Charles Hoy Fort, author of the Book of the Damned, Wild Talents, Lo, and New Lands. Iconoclast, satirist, sceptic and humourist, Fort spent most of his life challenging religious and scientific Dogma. The British magazine Fortean Times is named after him. Many of his relatives are interred in this plot, including his wife Anna. His 60,000 notes are in the New York Public Library, where he spent most of his life.
