Brent Geese, Clontarf, Dublin

Urban nature - Brent Light Bellied Brent Goose, branta bernicla, migrates to Ireland every winter from arctic Canada - many of them ending up on Dublin's Bull Island, or in surrounding parks and near busy roads...Bull Island is a UNESCO protected biosphere reserve in the Northern suburbs of Dublin. It features two golf clubs, and Dollymount beach, used for kitesurfing and other outdoor activities. Wildlife includes seals and bird life.
