The island of Parryoya, Svalbard
The fogbound, Arctic island of Parryøya, or Parry Island, in the Sjuøyane archipelago, northeastern Svalbard, named after the explorer William Parry, who explored the area in 1827. Parryøya is 1000km from the North Pole, and 1600km north of the Arctic Circle.
