Ardmore Cathedral

Ardmore Cathedral, Co Waterford, Ireland. Believed to be the earliest Christian settlement in Ireland, Saint Declan lived in here in the 4th century. The cathedral and round tower mostly dates from 12-13 century. The stone carvings tell the story of Adam and Eve, and thought to be taken from an earlier, 9th century, building on the site.
